Another Progressive Year

It has been another great year for the Stabiliser™ breed as it continues to expand its influence across the industry.

2018 has seen record sales for breeding stock and several potentially large new herds have been established.

BCMS registrations are also encouraging and indicate a rise if nearly 11% in numbers compared with last year’s total. A breakdown of the numbers shows 48,928 females and 19,877 males.

The move to the Leachman genetic evaluation system has proved to be quite a challenge. This was to be expected as transferring over 120,000 animal records to a new system was never going to be a straight forward process.
